What's it resembling to drive and 18 wheeler contained by the snow, rime?? Is it harder?

How much harder is it to drive and 18 wheeler in discouraging weather? even hard precipitation? snow down a steep grade surrounded by the rockies? Is this all really horrible? Because when i go across america and even around where I live trucks be doing 90 down the rockies...they were going track faster than cars in the snow? I know I wouldn't drive one close to that unless it was much easier? or i be an idiot....right?

I'm going to get a cdl soon and i want to swot up in the worst weather and worst conditions. I only just want to get an view...

Answers:    no your not an idiot
trucks have heavier immensity but i would not come down the rockies at 90mph rain/snow /ice require experiance to deal beside each
i drive for a living after 19yrs i still run it easy surrounded by bad weather
of late because a rig weighs 70,000 pounds dont be a sign of it is better than a 4 wheeler on snow. u get a truck sliding, and there's no process in hell ur gonna win out of it very flowing. i've seen alot of rigs contained by the median after running off the road surrounded by a snow squall. very assured to go sour the road, u'll need a tow truck to return with u out.
