Alabama Driving Test?

How do you turn your wheels going down mound with a curb? Going down hummock without a curb? Up hummock with a curb and up hillock without a curb?

Answers:    The following is quoted from page 27 and 28 from the Alabama's Driver License Manual from the Alabama Department of Public Safety, which is linked below:

When parking on a mound you must make sure your vehicle does not roll into traffic if the brakes do not hold. Always set the hand brake. Shift to the PARK position if you hold one. If not, shift to reverse or low gear. If you park where in attendance is a curb:
Facing downhill, turn your wheels toward the curb and shift into reverse gear or PARK.

Facing uphill turn your wheel away from the curb and shift into low gear or PARK. If there are no curbs, turn your wheel toward the edge of the road, whether facing uphill or downhill.

PARKING ON A HILL

A. Downhill near or without a curb, turn wheel toward curb.
B. Uphill with curb, turn wheel away from curb.
C. Uphill without curb, turn wheel to the right.
I sorry are you talking give or take a few parking the car?

With a curb Brace the wheel against the curb. To brace your car when parking downhill, turn your wheel toward the curb and drive forward slowly until the wheel is against the curb. To brace your motor when parking uphill, turn your wheels sharply, away from the curb, and put a bet on up slowly until the rear of the tire is against the curb.

WIthout a curb Turn your wheel sharply to the right. If the car should roll, it will roll away from the flow of traffic.
