Are subways not dangerous?

ya know, like the subways surrounded by new york and other places.they other seem close to they're gonna crash,or just stop adjectives of a sudden.like contained by those movies.so are they safe??

Answers:    The subway recurrently seems alarming, with the sudden acceleration and braking and sharp turns, but serious accident are much more rare than within a car. Your biggest risk contained by a subway is going to come from the people around you, not the train itself. Crime is one primary problem, and being surrounded by close proximity to people who are sick near colds or the flu (or worse) is another problem. If you're using the subway outside of normal business hours (from 7PM to 7AM) bring a friend! Stay as far away as you can from coughers and sneezers, and don't eat anything or touch your hand to your face until after you've wash your hands really very well!
They're equipped with emergency brakes, etc. I'm an avid subway rider and I never quality unsafe--unless of course, someone pushes you surrounded by front of one.
