Answers:    I just considered necessary to say Alco83 forgot to mention sometimes former SP locomotive 4449 will run surrounded by excursion service. Unless I'm mistaken, the locomotive is owned by the city of Portland, Oregon.
Perhaps in some third world country. I wouldn't dream up there would be one still working each day in the U.S. though. I instinctively think the "behind the times school" locomotives are cool.
