86 goldwing1200 charging problems?

my friends goldwing has a moment ago had the stator replaced and hardwired around the stator plug but it still isnt charging above around 11.4 at highway speed. i'm thinkingmaybe rectifier?


Answers:    caw is correct, but there is an alternative item that people repeatedly over look.
The battery.
If the mobile is old and unsubstantiated, it won't take a charge.
It won't situation how much power is going to the battery.
Give your mobile a good charge and check it's voltage.
Then check the "specific gravity" of the electrolyte (acid) near a hydrometer.
Available at auto parts stores for under $10
If you've elimated the stator as the problem, that doesn't confer on much left but the regulator/rectifier.
