'07 Suzuki DR-650 SE(K) U.S. model?

This models' been around for years and have a well earn reputation for being reliable as a stone.. Question: My '07 beside 1500 +/- miles starts well, runs in good health (at normal op. temp.) but have what I can only describe as a slight " carb line " just past its sell-by date idle that's also noticable during throttle roll-on out doing a tour.. What's happening here ? I suspect lean jetting but the plugs look fine .. Fuel octane make no difference, nor does changing brands.. Air filter's stock & spotless.. Fuel mileage is stale the chart......high 60's......this at road speeds of 65 - 75.. Again, this points toward lean jetting, but ?? Hope to manufacture this bike a long term " warden " so working out the quirks while it's fresh & modern will pay stale down the road.. Suggestions / comments / wise *** remarks............anyone ??

Answers:    a short time ago a guess from running Honda XR650Rs & Kawasaki KLR650s off and on over the years... requirements the normal "opening" up ... jetting, nouns box & exhaust to remove that so called throttle wad. most bikes are choked back to group EPA requirements, but can easily be open up to perform better and still collect all inspection requirements.

you might also post over on some of the popular offroad or dual sport forums and find individuals that enjoy specifics on your exact model... like thumpertalk or Texas Offroad Network (just use a prod engine to find them).
