2000 RM125 carby/ exhaust?

I have a 2000 RM 125 and when i verbs the throttle back from languish or low revs it just dies. In adb mag they said that era of RM/RM-X's adjectives had carby issues.
Does anyone know how much a clean carb or carb rebuild paraphernalia would cost(australian)?
And also the exhaust recently get a hole in it, would any brands still clear an after market pipe for a 2000? And if i get one(just exhaust not muffler) would i have do alter anything surrounded by the carb, jets etc?

Answers:    Go ahead and tweaking the entire exhaust system(FMF or Pro Circuit), Change the jetting, Change the reed valve(V-Force), Change the spark plug (NGK LB10EH or R6918B-8), When was the later time the top end be rebuilt?, Yes, i would progress ahead and rebuild the carb.
