Any idea's on why a XJ MAXIM 650cc wont start ?

will start in the evening no problem but first entity in the morning, approaching a grumpy teenager will not start minus a jump from the coup¨¦ being revved at 3000revs for at tiniest 4 mins then it is reluctant.

Answers:    Own a 700cc Maxim have similar problem. It took a combination of bits to sort it.New Battery and check charging system (regulator/rectifier 14-15. volts charge rate) new plugs and HT cap silicone spray on all electrical connections replace nouns filter and balance carbs. I know inert a bit but till all this be done she was a grumpy mature teenager presently shes like the wife keep running. best of luck ride free.

do the basics first,
revise the spark plugs and replace the battery,
you'll be surprised how masses times 1 of those are the root of a problem on a bike

a new battery-operated if you can put choke on once you have turned stale engine this might help over hours of darkness for first thing starting and spray lead with wd40 or a ignition sealer.best of luck
