2001 buell blast 500cc Adjusting Primary Chain Tension??

thanks too adjectives the great feedback on my previous question! i pulled the gone side clutch/gear cover off and found the primary secure to have eat the upper and lower plastic chain guides along next to the lower chain guide spring. PLASTIC EVERYWHERE!! i cleaned everything up and ordered the guides and spring from harley. My interview is, how do i adjust the primary chain rigidity?? or is that the job of the plastic guides and spring? also, how do you overrun and what is the capacity of grease (formula +) for the clutch and chain housing?

that self said try this. (straight out of the service manual)

Primary Chain Adjuster
1. If shoe is badly worn, replace it.
2. Install cuff tensioner spring over pin and into hole in crankcase.
3. While prying the tensioner spring down, slide shoe onto
pin and tensioner spring.
4. Press shoe inward.
5. Install primary cover.

Primary Chain Adjustment
Buell Blast Models are shipped near a spacer between the primary chain limiting screw and the locknut. The spacer is used to like greased lightning get proper adjustment during production.
This spacer should be removed and discarded at the first adjustment interval.
1. Back-off preserve nut (3) and chain limiting screw (1). Remove spacer (2).

IMPORTANT NOTE
Be guaranteed to use Inch-Pound Wrench. Chain adjuster shoe
can be damaged by excessive force.
2. Tighten secure limiting screw to 24 in-lbs (2.7 Nm).
3. Back-off chain limiting screw 3/4 turn (4 1/2 “flats”).
4. Hold tie up limiting screw while tightening jam nut. Tighten to 20-25 ft-lbs (28-33 Nm).

If my mind serves me correctly, The fasten tensioner on that bike is automatic, and will have a spring to adjust the rigidity on its own.
