Answers:    Don't get a two stroke. Two stroke enjoy better torque but you have to mix the grease wich is a pain.
That is a tough interrogate in your context. If you looked-for to know which is easier to ride, or which performs better on the track consequently it is a 4 stroke all the process. The one downside to a 4 stroke is the cost to rebuild. If you be buying one brand new I wouldn't be concerned, but buying a 2- 3 year elderly 250F you could be looking at some expensive motor repairs in the not too distant adjectives. Of course this totally depends on how the bike has be ridden and cared for. The YZ-F does tend to enjoy fewer spigot train issues than the CRF though from my understanding. My CRF250R is a 2005 and I've not have any issues at all but I do bear good precision of it and never bounce it off the limiter.
