It has presently been almost a month and we still haven't received a cheque from them despite numerous phonecalls. Each time they assure us that a cheque is on its way.
To top it adjectives off they have help0ed themselves to some lb460 to money for our insurance for the rest of the year (so that we cannot leave them) as well as the lb250 excess.
We enjoy put in atleast 3 formal complaints about the service we are acceptance and are still getting nowhere.
Is there some sort of independant company that deals next to these sort of complaints?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Answers: Quit calling them. Start everything in written form so you will own proof of their replies. It's way too easy to forget about the "I said - they said" conversations.
Contact the insurance commission and make a formal complaint once you have the written answer from them as to why they renewed insurance on a vehicle you don't have, and why you have not be compensated for your losses.
And next time (if there is one) remember they don't help yourself to the car until you have your settlement. That be your first mistake.
File a complaint with the Insurance Commission Office in your nouns. Try

Also send a wriiten letter of complaint to tesco insurance asking for a written reply. You will enjoy proof of their excuses.
