i was hit while parked at a resturant eating legally. my front fender was completely dented in and they hit my rim. yes i did drive the car back to work which i could see where i was, but the car did not feel right. so i called a wrecker to come get it. since i have a ways to drive home, just in case something was wrong with my wheel
now there insurance says there not paying for anything except what they offered for a dented fender.
please help this cannot be right. there is no way they can say we took pictures and tell me my wheel is fine until it is put on a rack and inspected.
if so we all need to be certified ADJUSTERS.

The estimate you were provided is just that...an estimate. You have to take the car to shop, have it put on a rack & inspected, and shop will call the insurance company and let them know there is supplemental damage. It's that easy.don't get so upset.
It's a good thing you were eating legally; if you were eating illegally they wouldn't pay anything :)
If you don't agree with what the adjuster says there is an appeals process with the insurance company. Call your agent, explain your case and have the agent help you. The agent will know what needs to be done for you to get covered for the rim. If you don't have an agent you'll just have to start calling the company and try to find someone that'll help you.
