Has anyone been involved in car accident arbitration?

Question:
I will be the defendant in this case. My insurance company will represent me, however is it fair? The plaintiff is claiming this costly injury, however the accident was only 16days ago.

She told my insurance company she broke her hand, but they found out it was only sprained. Any advice will help. Thanks.

Seriously.. that first person on here.. has some serious mental issues... i dont understand half of what they are talking about lol... the insurance companies settling under their limits then playing golf? Whyw ould the insurance company waht to give a high value.. and whats that have to do with playing golf? Some people just have a chip on their shoulder you know? LoL...

that is very very fast for arbitration but just aware that your insurance company IS there to represent YOU! They dont want to pay out just as much as you dont for something you didnt cause. sit back.. try not to worry.. and let them do what they are paid for!

Good luck
Only the lawyers will win, trust me! And the insurance co. may be providing your legal defense, but they will be looking out for their interests. Who will represent YOU? DO NOT SETTLE IF YOU ARE INNOCENT! Make them sue you in court instead of the "easy way out!" They will end-up settling for just under your total liability total, then make plans for their next golf game afterwards. I know, because I've been there/done that. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT PLEAD GUILTY, EVEN IF YOU WERE! It is up to the court to find guilt or innocence; make the prosecution PROVE their case!
Sixteen days ago? Where's this? Wow, that's gotta be a record or something. Good luck even reaching an adjuster in 16 days, let alone having an arbitration. Anyway, the upside, if there is one, is that the medical treatment to date will be limited in terms of time elapsed since the alleged injury. Most claimants would want to wait to see how the injury progresses, etc. Is it a non-binding arb? Unorthodox, but I'm used to Los Angeles area.
Good luck.
Unless your insurance policy requires you to go to arbitration, you should insist on going to court because you will be more likely to win. If you must go to arbitration, make sure you do your research on the arbiters and pick someone who has a record of fairness.
