Driving Test Pass Certificate has been lost during moving house, how do I claim another or get a copy?

Question:
I recently passed my test in Stonehaven, near Aberdeen, but the family has just moved down to Yorkshire and somehow in the chaos of the move my test pass certificate has been lost, so I am unable to send off for my full driving license. Im stuck on who to contact to get another one as the test centres do not have phone numbers to call. Does anyone know how I can sort this out?
Thanks in advance.

Answer:
No problem. Get a D1 application form from any post office. Complete sections 1 to 5 and sign and date section 8.

Under section 1 put your new address and it will also ask if you have changed your address - tick yes and then put your old address in the little box.

Under section 3 tick the box "exchange following a test pass" and in the box where it asks for Category put the category you passed i.e. B = Car, A = Motorbike, C = Lorry, D = Bus.

Write a letter to say that you cannot find your test pass certificate and state where and what date you took your test.

Include both parts of your licence (photocard and counterpart). If you have lost both or one part - say so in the letter.

No fee. Send to DVLA, Swansea, SA99 1BJ
Why didn't you send off for it straight away?
Surely the test centre you took your test at would be able to put you straight.
Contact driving instructor.
try calling the dvla, im not sure of their number,

if you log onto their website im sure you will find theh help you require on there, after all they are the people who issued it in the first place.

Hope this helped
