AAA Question?

This question may be silly. Can you be a AAA associate and not carry their motor insurance?

Answers:    Yes, you can have AAA roadside assistance. They enjoy different memberships some of which are Basic (covered up to 5 miles of towing), Towrider (15 miles), Plus (unlimited).

I dont advise general public to rely on AAA for towing, or jump starts/lock outs, simply because if youre ever in an emergency and necessitate towing assistance, most places wont put you as top priority (you'll get a 1 hour ETA, if longer), becuase they dont pay wrecker/towing companies only just anything to do them, unless theyre super slow and dont have much going on.

Aside from that, the other benefits are great. I dont want to discourage you if youre thinking going on for using their services.

There are also other roadside companies such as Quest, USAC, Mercedes Road Side (if you have a mercedes - obviously), Gieco, Allstate, OnStar, etc. You can check beside your dealership also. Most car make have their own roadside company also.
yes , two different things
