Auto Body shop quote and Insurance quote?

My insurance adjuster came out and cut me a check for 1,200. The check issued is a f¨ºte price. The shop i trust gave me a quote of 1,300 which resources I will only hold to pay 100 out of pocket. My deductible is 500. Do i still own to pay 500 even though the check will cover most of the expenses?

Answers:    The check should be already smaller amount your DD...the adjuster should have given you a copy of his estimate to do the repairs...look at the total and see what it is...if it's 1700.00, next that's why the check is for 1200.00. If you go to another shop that does not fix adjectives the damages for what the insurance co estimate is for, you cannot go spinal column to them for a supplement for damages. Best to discuss it with the bodyshop and adjuster beforehand starting repairs. Somewhere there's a 400.00 difference in the repairs which some shops will discount to obtain the job but some will only just not fix something that should be fixed.
No. You have to pay packet whatever the set off is, after that check, to the body shop.
