A flying protest hits the front of my motor on a highway. Would insurance cover? Would it increase my premium?

The object seem to be a big strip of tire thread. I have both comprehensive and collision.

Thanks.

Answers:    Yes, it should be covered. Which coverage? Well, typically flying objects would be comprehensive, stuff you run over would be collision. So I'd expect the comp deductible to apply, and no surcharge as it's not really an fluke. Don't let them call upon it collision, as they'll be able to surcharge you afterwards.
Check with your Insurance........I would hold had to supply something if I were to be covered and I hit a deer......I am sure it would not be a big increase within your premium..........but i am almost positive you will pay somewhat bit by adding that type of coverage. And more than feasible depending on your Insurer... it seems close to every claim..no matter what, your premiums will step up!!
