Auto Collision Property Damage Question?

I was rear-ended and the driver be drunk, clear liabilty. My fairly meaningful watch be damaged contained by the collision and is probably irreparable. Am I entitled for recovery? It be a gift, I don't enjoy the receipt.

Answers:    Let's clear this up a bit.

Your vehicle insurance won't cover it since it is personal property and is not covered under the physical sprain portion of YOUR policy.

If the idiot drunk driver had insurance, you can get hold of it paid for by THEIR insurance company. Their liability coverage will cover your sports car and any personal property damaged surrounded by the accident.

I enjoy handled claims similar to yours surrounded by the past. Not have the receipt isn't really an issue. You can bring a jewelers appraisal for the value of the keep watch on, but proving it was dilapidated in the twist of fate can be tough unless it was totally smashed to pieces.
You'll probably be told to claim it on your Home Owners Insurance policy.
