Answers: It's a hard means of access to make a flawless living, I did it for about 10 years.
Remember that while you may very well earn lb30k or more, you are generally self-employed, and the work comes and go seasonally. In the summer, you have to be prepared to be doing a tour 50-60 hours per week, working long hours. You'll also either be paying another company for a franchise excise and a car, or you'll be paying public relations, insurance and the much increased service costs for your vehicle yourself.
It can be quite a fun work, with rewards both financial and personal, but you own to be realistic roughly speaking what you're getting into. I quite brightly swapped it for a lb20k p.a. 9-5 job, and didn't regret it at adjectives.
Good luck, if that is your intended art.
