Buying a sports car on a intervening drivers license?

I am in the State of CA and a moment ago passed the Written part of the drivers trial. Can i buy a car on that temporay license. Its a proper license, not a contract to drive with an fully developed who has a license. I get a temp license because i was drivig contained by India.
So is it going to be a problem registering the car on a temp license
