Anyone ever get a brand unknown motor contained by the winter?

What make,model, and year be it? And how did you keep the coup¨¦ in well brought-up condition in the winter?


Answers:    Wow does this give somebody the third degree bring back memories! In January, 1972 my husband and I get married. We had a 1968 pale Chevy Nova that we drove from WV to NY for the wedding. Before we not here the car didn't want to start which should enjoy been a admonition. It took him a couple hours to get it fixed and gone us both in a foul mood. The sports car functioned fine during the trip. After the wedding we be on our way support to WV driving through Chilicothe (?sp) OH around 1 a.m. when the car caught in flames. It was one of the worst winters next to sub-zero temps and blizzard conditions. My husband managed to bring back the fire out and we literally crawled back into Charleston. The sports car sat contained by the driveway for a few days until we could get it started to grasp to a car merchant. We bought a brand-new green 2-door 1972 Buick Skylark. That weekend we drove up to Huntington, WV to recover from the wedding ceremony and the car ordeal surrounded by temps again way below nought. The car perform beautifully--especially the heater! We lived surrounded by an apt. so we didn't have a garage but we be very thoroughly about removing snow and keeping the saline washed sour. We never did have any rust spots and we kept the coup¨¦ 5 years. To us maintenance extended beyond grease changes to things resembling hosing the salt bad behind the tires, underneath the wheel well,etc.
