Anyone Ever Shipped a Car Overseas?

My husband and I are making a military move to Germany in July of subsequent year. The army will only repay for the shipping of ONE vehicle and we need both! Anyone ever shipped a vehicle to Europe beforehand? Preferable to Germany? How much did you pay? Who did you use? What helpful of experience did you have?

Answers:    Yes, Im within the army and did the shipment from Germany back to the US.... it cost me $1200 and guaranteed me customs as economically..... the vehicle made it in impeccable condition no scratches... we used some German company and we be very rewarded.... it took about 2 weeks to procure the vehicle..... not bad.

Yes I hold shipped many cars to Germany from UK, But you did not influence from which country YOU want to ship from? I sold cars to the British Military in Germany subsidise in the mid to behind ninties. You can pay around 250/500 pounds per saloon depending where you wnat it deliver in Germany. Many transporter companies enjoy a European service in UK. ( not sure if you are from UK tho')
