This soul said that some MOT testers will pass cars near them, others won't. Now surely if they are illegal no MOT tester will outdo them, and if they are legal surely adjectives MOT testers should pass them?
Can someone purely please tell me the officially recognized side of these lights please cause i really resembling them.

The Lexus standard capitalist lights are definately road legal. Also anything i.e. EU approved and E-marked means that it is road permitted in the UK.
If you hold a set, look for the kite mark somewhere on the table lamp. The aftermarket/lexus 'style' lights are widely available and are still E-marked etc. A lot of websites will tell you whether they are E-marked/road legalized or not before selling them to you.
Just don't take anything with a tint within it, gets too complicated.
Providing they ARE fully E-marked no MOT tester can founder them. If you have an issue beside an MOT tester you can report them to VOSA (www.vosa.gov.uk) which is the government agency that controls the MOT testers.
Do not listen to rumours, it is Legal, as long as the motor has be approved by the EU of being road worthy, it is allowed to be passed.

as long as they are porperly fitted and they work properly, ie they are the right ones for your car afterwards you should be fine. ypu can buy a car and later go to halfords and buy the lights for it, dont be swayed towards a motor just because of the lights.
i never messed up mots with them, never get stopped by police or anything! x
They will be legal even if they own no reflectors, all you will enjoy to do is put a seperate reflector on the rear of the saloon you can buy them in Halfords they basically stick on with double sided video.
