Well from someone whom have had experience w/t sheep skin, it essentially depending on were you live contained by terms of weather conditions. Philly.. have pretty cold winters, Idaho as well, they are reheat,But they do attract lint and create static electricity. And worse yet, attract smells as all right. But it is a matter of fancy.
