Answers: I've driven different types of trucks for almost 10 years. the easiest subdivision of driving a truck is the shifting (I am one of the few that picked up shifting a truck really quickly). The hardest part is (as be mentioned before) learning how much truck/trailer you own behind you, and keeping that extra truck/trailer out of the ditch and rotten of other vehicles while turning. I still get hold of scared going downtown contained by a big truck, and I only run a 40' hopper bottom. It's profoundly shorter than vans (the big box trailers you usually see), but it still takes profusely of room to get turned.
Honey, shifting won't be your problem. The problem begin with the 60 foot of truck and trailer you will have to steer.
