Any tips for a first time driver?

I am about to own my first driving lesson ever in the subsequent couple of hours.I'm 34 and have never driven until that time in my time.I'm not so much nervous,more unsure of whats going to start on my first lesson.I'm in the uk if that help,don't know how driving lessons differ from country to country.Any guidance or tips on what to expect?

just steal your time the instrutor will help you get hold of started, dont panick at other traffic as they were once be you are and should understand except then theyre assholes.
when varying gears i use the rev of the engine to tell me, some relatives use a 3 second between 1st and second gears the rest will come natural.
driving is fun especially after your first lesson you'll bring back such a buzz.
your instructer will keep you undisruptive as it will be dual control for the cluch and brake.

good luck and remember pratice make perfect so go and get plenty of pratice.
your driving instructor should explain all the controls ,what to so when you bring into a car and finnish bad with moving sour and stopping ,if it is only a 1 hour lesson that is to say all you should do well brought-up luck
