Can you figure this gas mileage?

I am driving across country and the mileage will be 1630.97 miles. How do I calculate how much gas I will be using so I can estimate $ spent. Math majors please apply.

Answers:    If you know how oodles miles your car get to the gallon, then you divide the total miles by your mpg, consequently multiply by the price of gas. If your car get 23 miles per gallon, then you hold 1630.97 / 23 = 70.911 gallons of gas. Then you multiply that by the price of a gallon of gas. 70.911 * 2.95 = 209.19. Make sure you have more than you inevitability, because you never know when you will get stuck on traffic or surrounded by road construction. I always bring in the region of 20% more than I need.
First, agree to your car achieve to almost zero gas. Take your odometer reading. Fill up your container to full. Note how much you have to spend on a full container of gas and how much gallons you just bought. You will call for this info later.

Drive within a regular manner. When the time comes that your saloon has almost nought gas again, take the odometer reading again. Subtract your previous reading from your current reading. This will dispense you the approximate no. of miles a full tank of gas could bestow you. Call this X.

Divide the total mileage(you mean distance?) of 1630.97 by X. This should administer you the number of full tank of gas you'll be need. Multiply that by the amount you spent on a full tank(the note you took earlier). This is the approximate total amount you will spend on gas. Add $1000 as a backup, freshly in shield you get lost, involve more AC as usual or carrying too much luggage that it makes your motor use more gas than usual or for any emergency.

Note: you also don't need to catch the gas to almost zero. Just craft sure that when you make the reading, the gas are at about impossible to tell apart level.

Added: when you natter about mileage, I'm assuming you're referring to the distance or miles to carry from a-b. Mileage is the reading you get from its odometer(what's the mileage on your sports car?).It also means the miles(or distance)a vehicle can travel on a specified level of fuel .
You need to amount out your gas mileage in country vs. contained by town, and how much of the commute will be which situation. You should know that your miles per gallon varies next to the speed you doing, and how much stop and go traffic, and the condition of your saloon.

For example, if you get a coup¨¦ tune up, oil evolution, etc. shortly before your trip, you will use smaller quantity gasoline.

If you refrain from profoundly of speeding on your journey, you will use smaller quantity gasoline.
