I am selling my '97 Honda CRV it has 109K miles, other had on the dot oil change, body work on the front bumper, runs fine, A/C works, outside has a few scratch and dents, inside is stain free, but the dash have some discoloration from the sun, has never have the timing belt changed. Ok so on Kelly Blue Book it says that surrounded by fair condition it should flog for $5,300. I am selling it for $5000, but no one is biting, $4000 is the just offer I own gotten. Whats up?
Answers: Yeah...i don't think that 5000 is too impossible a deal considering the condition but sometimes you enjoy to lower your price if people arent biting. I'd turn with 4500 or something unless you want to nick that person up on 4000. I own experience with that, my dad sold his fully clad condition bmw a while back and with the sole purpose got similar to 4 or 5 thousand (for a BMW) haha
Just because the blue book says it is worth that much doesn't penny-pinching it really is. If you had an set aside of $4000, I would take it. You may not carry a better offer. Of course, it depends on how much you really want to get rid of it. If you are willing to continue maybe for weeks or months for $5000, after wait. Otherwise, hold the $4000 offer and be bullish with it.
