Used car--car inspection--dealership?

do you need to take your car inspected (maintiance, produce sure dealer is not lying ) if it's from a dealership, similar to Toyota, not a private dealership or anything

Answers:    I would never buy a used car lacking having an independent certified mechanic that I trust inspect the vehicle. I don't care who is selling it.

If a trader won't allow an inspection, walk away from the business. He's trying to hide something.
You shouldnt hold to, but if you have a mechanic that you trust and enjoy been using for a few years, it doesnt hurt.
