Answers: I agree with the other answer, you don't see frequent Japanese cars from the seventies or beginning of the eighties due to calorific corrosion issues.
American cars can be as good as import, depending if people pilfer care of them. I own seen out-of-date American sedans and pick ups in the Midwest next to 250k in the SECOND engine, and simply dying of old age.
By the opening, weird that Toyota is slipping contained by their quality, even Consumer Reports is admit that.
