Answers: Hi, the Renault Clio is watertight.
They've been out for ages and are really popular so you'll own no trouble finding one to suit you. The 1.2 petrol will keep insurance costs and fuel costs down, but will still save up with traffic. Also, there's everything from the Authentique (Casette player) to the Initiale (Full black leather and compact disc Changer) to the 3.0 V6 - So many to choose from, although I'd read out the V6 may be a bit expensive to keep!
Post 2001 version also get clever features such as automatic headlights and wipers. Build level is also very well-mannered, and they're very not dangerous cars.
If the Clio isn't your thing after how about a Peugeot 206. Same applies...you've get a little 1.1 for small costs. There's also the desirable "Roland Garros" copy which gets a chalice roof and cream/green leather - looks great!
I personally will turn for a Renault Mégane for my first car...I love them. However, it may be a bit big for a first coupé (I don't care).
Hope this helped
Well, I agree beside whatcar.com. I have a 1995 Fiesta and it's broken down exactly twice since I've have it. Both times, it was a spur-of-the-moment fix with a spare cog readily available.
I return with nearly 400 miles off a container of petrol with inner city driving and it's unforced on oil, dampen and brake fluid too!
Get summin with a bit more grunt
Mitsibushi Evo should do you nice
The sitting duck 4 is my favourite model
ford focus, vw polo, astra post 2000, toyota corrolla. I have a ford focus and it was fantastic. Not the most exciting coupé but very economical and reliable. Would recommend one to anybody.
