Go for an 02 or 03 Maxima instead. It have 260 ponies and can be found with a 6 speed trans. A few modifications that save the car stock looking can break 300 ponies.
If your dad like a quiet and boring vehicle the camry is great. But if he likes a coup¨¦ that is dependable and conservative looking but can smoke masses normal cars out at hand then the Max is the best one.
The TL is a righteous car but it is set for a total restyle in 08.
Oh, and unlike the TL and Camry the 5th gen Maxima be made in Japan.
I can't ever say-so this enough. I would purchase a Toyota or Honda. These vehicle are really durable and dependable. Let alone, affordable. If they do come up with a problem, you're covered next to the warranty or, if there's no warranty it won't cost you an arm and a leg for a fix. No wonder I have other purchased Toyota's and Honda's.
