Now, my budget on a car is around lb1500, up to lb2000 if it's amazing. Insurance is impossible to tell apart amount, again up to lb2000 if it's definitely what I'm after (looking to take-home pay monthly, preferably).
Can anyone give me any guidance as to what type of saloon would best suit me? (given my height as my Mum mentioned, I'd inevitability a car beside a bit of room, since I'm 6 foot 2 inches)
Preferably, as long as it goes lacking too much hassle I'll be a happy guy. So far adjectives I've found is either dirt-cheap cars that are "better than bright!" for like lb300, or lb2,500 cars (types mentioned above) that enjoy been whitewashed up.

A lot of these elder cars can be insured as 'classics' with specialist insurers, don't incur road import tax if pre-1973, and are way cooler than a Fiesta! I would buy a small engine car for insurance stash and I would also buy a car not likley to endorse it's next MOT.
