Honestly a second age group camaro should not be expensive at all unless you are looking for something surrounded by mint condition. A third gen would be my choice they are quick and within is alot of aftermarket support. I picked up a 87 Iroc Z28 last year for $3500 within very virtuous conditon except the paint, but thats very simple to fix. Goodluck on your purchase.
