Answers: Porsche and VW be created by the same person-Ferdinand Porsche. They were other separate companies, but they worked together. Porsche is currently buying VW. They own a little over 50% of VW.
GM bought Saab, Vauxhall, Opel, and Holden sometime in the in arrears 90's or maybe the year 2000 or 2001. It was sometime around consequently.
Chrysler and Mercedes joined in the slow 90's to make Daimler Chrysler. Chrysler was dying so they united with Mercedes.
Ford and Volvo also joined surrounded by the late 90's.
VW bought Audi very rash.-I think in the 60's.
BMW bought Mini in the order of 2 years before the new mini come out, which I think was contained by 2001. I am not sure about when they got RollsRoyce.

Ford also owns Jaguar and Mazda.--the companies surrounded by America joined up with the foriegn cars because of limitations that were put on cars being competent to be imported into the US. Like in the 70s nearby were only 100,000 Mazdas allowed into the US respectively year.--Ford bought Mazda and they import a lot presently. Toyota is now made in the US. The in one piece problem was that Foriegn cars outsold the crummy American made cars.----they still do.
