i got a '90 300zx next to a vg30de and 180,000 miles on it. i plan on dropping a new engine so might as in good health drop the twin turbo engine. i looked but have no valid info on the swap. im tryin to get as much info so that i can enjoy a smooth as possible swap. i have a pretty honest knowledge of cars so im purely looking for a push in the right direction.thanx
Answers: Honestly, its cheaper to go the N/A and buy a TT. There's a lot more to it than purely dropping the engine in. The parts give up quicker than you'd think.
That is in truth a common, save simple swap. Check out nicoclub.com, they have forums faithful to not only the Z32 platform, but also for the VG30DETT engine block, and swapping from n/a to TT. Biggest problem is the deficit of space under the hood.
