my car sounds similar to it has an aftermarket muffler. It still have the stock exhaust system(original). My friends thought that I installed a loud muffler. I thought there's probably a pinhole in the exhaust pipe, after a complete inspection of the pipe I found no holes surrounded by it. I love the sound of the coup¨¦ now next to a low deep vroom vroom. what can result in this? could it be that my car is a jdm model(my friends' opinions), mistakenly shipped to north america? anyone have this experience?
Answers: I doubt it's a jdm model. That's not a mistake that really happens ever.
Do you see any rust within the system anywhere? If it's rusted through even in the smallest nouns, it'd make the saloon sound too loud.
Has any substance come out of the tailpipe that looks like greasy tresses? If so, that's the muffler's sound anaesthetizing material, and if it have come loose it'll cause the loudness you're experiencing.
Or it could only just be in your boss ;)
that is no JDM, it is element of the OZ package. even JDM CT-chassis Lancers do not seize any special mufflers at all.
