1967 Mustang?

I want to get this Mustang for my 17 birthday for my first motor, but its tough and rusty and doesn't exacly run. It won't take to much to achieve her running. He is asking for 1500 to 2000$ should I get it.

Answers:    nice cars and i enjoy owned two 67 fastbacks, if its got the 289 V8 contained by it then i would take it but then that's what i do for a living, and if its get the 200 6banger then i would deliberate a few before buying it, but later again that's what i do for a living so i would end up buying it.
the places to look on those cars for rust that's going to cost you big, is newly in front of the doors where on earth the firewall and the floor pan collect, the floor boards both front and back and contained by the trunk where the bumper supports are, those are the places that they rust the most and that will cost you the most to fix, parts for that motor are real comfortable to get and they are repopping them stale like crazy, NPD ( national parts depot ) and ( year one ) own all most every entity you could ever look for on that car.
i enjoy gotten lots of parts from NPD there phone number is 1-8OO-368-6451 ask them to convey you one of there free catalogs on mustangs they manipulate stangs from 1965 to 1973, and i mean they enjoy everything if you have the dog post and the roof jar then they own everything else and cheap as hell.
if your willing to put time and money into it, i would grant no more than 1200
