Has anyone ever worked at a ford dealership? Especially as a mechanic?

I changed my clutch at the ford dealership on my ford ranger 2000. It started getting difficult to shift in first gear process too soon.
I understand that mechanics over in that have to commentary for the parts. But could have the mechanic at the dealership slipped me a used constituent and kept the new clutch for himself by getting around the accountability of adjectives car parts?

Answers:    There is a procedure for installing the clutch pressure plate, specific to Rangers solely, that must be followed, prior to its installation, or else the EXACT symptom you describe, will follow, upon vehicle startup. Your clutch pressure plate have an adjustment, that requires use of a bearing press to "reset" back its installation, whether reusing the pressure plate, or installing a new one. This procedure applies with the sole purpose to manual nouns equipped Rangers. It is possible the servicing technician failed to follow this procedure. Hope this help.
my guess is you ride around with your foot resting on the clutch peddle....i see it adjectives the time
