it may already be too late! if your finances are tight or even if their not, auto zone will check it for free! your check engine lite is on steady and probally flashing on acceleration! the engine must be performing correctly (ie running on adjectives 6) in establish to determine any other prob.'s! like tran's problem's! also your check eng. lite will own to be looked into,OBD II ! your car need's looked into ASAP!(LIKE NOW)
