Peugeot 205?

there is a rumpus coming from the rear of my motor, it seems to be a scrape noise, metal on metal. Im pretty sure its not the brakes as be all done within the mot last week.

Has simply just come, after owning the vehcile for two months.

sorry about the insufficiency of detail, but i would like to know if near is any common problems which can creat this disturbance.

Answers:    Sometimes a rear brake SHOE, even if it is brand unsullied, can come loose from its metal backing. Then it drops down an inch or so.
It isn't precarious, but you loose braking power and will hear the loose shoe scraping. Visually check that side again, please.

In amalgamation to the answer before mine, which suggests "controls bearings", there is also a "helm race". The wheel see is found on the inside of the brake drum, and is sometimes damamged when aggressively pulling off the brake drum. I own made that mistake when forcing the drum off. (THIS IS A GUESS for your problem)

There are also "suspension trailing arm bearings". These are found on the inside of your flipside axle. Changing these requires a lot of time and special tools. Even I own never attempted it myself. (NOTE: these bearings are not lower than constant rolling, thus no scraping noises).

Your 205 be built between 1983 and 1998. It could be ready for any one of these pose replacements.
could be the wheelbearings jack the back tiller up and spin it see if you can hear the Noise!
