Answers: Well I would articulate just lug it to any Nissan Service Dept. and have them fully inspect it because my girl's vehicle gets around 20mpg...
I enjoy an 05 Murano too, but it has never given me a trouble. Just tire problems and renovation of oil. Do you hold Warranty? If so, call the Nissan buyer where you purchased the vehicle and explain to them the situation. They know whats best. But remember to other consult with different mechanics/dealerships because some tend to charge more than what its supposed to be..

Try putting contained by it 93 octane gas it gives you better gas mileage next the other two lower grades would.I have an 04 murano and a 03 maximum both have like peas in a pod engine you do the 3.5v6 and I notice that these engines approaching the good stuff the cheap crap basically goes thru them approaching water. Also try putting gas close to at a Mobil or some sort of name gas station. Those no nickname ones seem to provide cars worse mpg.Well hope this helps
Your gasmilage may alter.... Take it from me your SUV should do much better. Air fuel ratio sensors could cause bleak gas mileage as will missing cat converter shield bolts. leaking oxygen into the second o2 sensor. Ok you start it up and drive three miles and turn it rotten then lunch three more miles consequently back to the Dorms. 9 or ten miles a daytime you can only expect roughly speaking 14 to 17 miles a gallon at a average speed of 28 miles an hour. Pull it out to the freeway this weekend and top off the reservoir drive 15 miles turn around and drive back 30 total miles overrun back up same station and do the math. Short trips you might put your foot bicycle or bum a ride.
