1999 chevy blazer ls 2wd problems and expectations?

I got a 1999 chevy blazer ls 2wd next to 177000 miles on it. I got it for 1500 from my mom whose owned it for a while. The truck be in Florida for copious years but now I hold it in Illinois. Was this other? What are some problems I can expect? How about gas mileage? How long can I expect it to end me? I am in college and will drive it around 150 miles (if not less) a week! I know principal maintenance approaching oil modification and brakes so that wont be a problem for me. Basically what are the pros and cons of this deal? THANKS

Answers:    Well, I get a Blazer also my is a 97' and it has 4-wheel drive. I one-sidedly would not buy a truck that is 2-wheel drive. If you are gonna buy a truck receive a truck 4x4. The price u bought it for is alright i think. Also, only to let u know adjectives blazers need the shocks and Ball joint replaced sometime even if they are pretty knew. The gas mileage is similar to a truck not that good. About 16 to 19 miles a gallon. So I figure its time a full tune-up which is like varying the spark plugs and fuel filter and wires, rodor cap, ignition hat,air filter I conjecture that's about it. I thought this would support on the gas mileage a bit but, I guessed wrong but o well it needed it. But, I will transmit you this if the blazer was taken precision of properly it will last you a long time. My father have a 92' with over 300,000 miles on it and its still going. Wish you the best look.
you get a pretty good operation... keep an eye on the tranny and preserve up the maintenance and it should ultimate you a while... IT"S A CHEVY
