I hold a transaxle restrictive neutral. A diagnostic on my 2000 cougar said NTT hiccup. What is that?

This issue is causing overdrive to move about off and give it shift shock and hard shifting within lower gears. No slippage of tranny. It has fluid.

Answers:    "NTT" may be the error code assigned to this problem. You may find it if you can find a book register all the error codes, or you may enjoy to take it to the buyer or a repair shop.

Transmission work isn't cheap - major repairs can run powerfully into 4 figures. It's usually cheaper to take into custody it early and fix it until that time it turns into something major.

Off to the Ford garage near you, I think.
ably, I dont really know what the NTT malfunction is but, you might lately need to replace the tranny filter. my explorer be doing similar stuff, and I replaced it and it was fine.
