How easier said than done is it to do a stopcock commission on my 72' head?

can some one tell me how to do a stopcock job on my 72' beetle head so i know if i can do it my self or not. (1600cc's)


Answers:    People used to remove the valves and appendage lap them near compound to get them to stamp again. For the most part it is a misuse of time and money now. Take them to a contraption shop where they hold the tools to regrind the proper angles in your stopcock seats and can also regrind your valve. If the seats are too worn next they can install new ones.
It's impossible to do the spigot seats or grind the valve unless you have the equipment vital to do the job.
