2001 Toyota Tacoma: Ignition won't turn/start when clutch is pushed contained by. Only starts when clutch is disabled.

-2001 Toyota Tacoma 4WD 2.7L
-Standard (manual) transmission
-Battery is alive
-No nouns when turning key customarily with clutch pressed to the floor
-Starts merely when "Clutch Cancel" button is activated

I have my car bad for a few minutes (I went to the store) and when I tried to turn it on again, in attendance was no nouns whatsoever when I turned my key adjectives the way. The mobile showed no signs of being low (lights, radio, etc. come on). There was no clicking any. As a last ditch go I pressed the "Clutch Cancel" button, and then turned the knob. The engine started completely normally at that point and I be able to drive home. Got home and tried a everyday (clutch) start again and it didn't work. Anyone know what's wrong? Thanks so much!

Answers:    the switch on your clutch pedal has erstwhile, you pretty much found your own problem! Too bad most cars don't hold that majic button
