03 Mitsubishi Eclipse, flawless sports car or not?

Is it a good motor and if it is what kind of gas mileage does it find?

Answers:    That generation of the Eclipse is a blight within the history of an otherwise great car.

They tried to use it to replace the low extremity version of the 3000 GT (GTO outside of the US), but the saloon wasnt really made to be that. It weighed too much for any engine, but especially too much for the I4. It was switched from individual a low end sport coupe focusing on handling and power potential (very low power, but boosting it be easy) to trying to compete with things resembling the Mustang. Instead of trying to appeal to younger people who a moment ago wanted the sport get the impression, they tried to appeal to middle aged men who demanded a certain amount of luxury at the expense of activities.
Mitsu sucks.

Mitsubishi is notorious for spending more time contained by the shop than on the road. They look devout, but the engineering is not the best. If you plan on adding upgrades (tuner-izing) it is a right car, but stock it will be problematic.
