Needing to know location of starter on a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo?

Jeep wouldn't start. Just one click when turning key, doesn't attempt any more. Battery is reading at 12.5V, checked beside volt reader. Not sure where the starter is located exactly. Anyone know where on earth it is located or had similar issues?

Answers:    It's gonna most feasible be on the lower driver's side near the nouns or bellhousing. Its gonna look black and about the size of a coffee can. Try drumbeat the side of it with a tack hammer while someone else trys to start the Jeep. Sometimes things just obligation to be free'ed up in at hand. Especially if its salty and sandy where on earth you are this time of year. To test it, you can disconnect it, verbs it out, then hook it up to a power source directly, if it turns, after its not your problem. If its having issues, consequently just swap it out at the local auto parts start, prob roughly speaking $120 plus core. Good luck

Well do you have a V8 or Inline 6? Inline 6 is on Passager side right by bellhousing 4.7L V8 not sure but meditate same side
