So when I turn the key to start my tahoe, I am not holding it any longer after I woulda any other car but the just way to describe it, is it sounds similar to it revs up really high really without delay and then the tahoe is turned on. my boyfriend said it sounded resembling I grinded a cat when i turned the key. I dunno what the hell is wrong. Also my dashlights walk off when my nighttime lights turn on but I do enjoy dash lights during the daytime. It sucks cuz I can't drive it at night. I totally get ripped off when I bought this Tahoe a year ago used :-(
Answers: the starter is a replacement and necessitate to be shimmed ( its hanging up and drinking the flywheel / flex plate). the light piece is the dimmer setting. if the radio dims with the commander lights on check th switch or just replace it it costs mabe 40. at the parts store.
