I hold two chevy astro vans, and both of them hold AC problems. Can anyone help out?

The AC works, but only through the defrost sector of the vents. There is no AC on the floor vent or fly (by radio, lights, turn signals......) Is this an easy fix, and what could be wrong?

Answers:    yes, you hold a vacuum problem, you need to manufacture sure the switch in the soup?on is getting vacuum. when it only comes out of the defrost this routine you have no vacuum or the vacuum switch on the put a bet on of the control panel is bad

Open the hood,remove air cleaner housing,next look on the top of intake manifold,close at hand the back of AC compressor,small plastic vacuum row run to the passenger side toward the vacuum reservoir,near the AC addressee drier.Hose is brittle and broke due to heat.HTH
